The Question of the Day was: Are you more dressed up than usual today? The photo above should reveal some of the students' responses. More photos of the day are on our Shutterfly site.
The big event of the day was our field trip to Drury Lane Theatre to see a production of A Christmas Carol. Everyone was very excited to see the play! Ask your child about the experience!
When we returned to school, the first graders ate lunch, wrote in their student planners, posed for photos in their elegant attire, and enjoyed the book Olive, the Other Reindeer, They also learned about authority during civics. Authority is the right to tell someone what to do. The final class of the day was music with Ms. Lambert.
We will write about our trip tomorrow. Our focus will be on using descriptive words. Ask your child to think of adjectives to describe the main characters in the play!
