Notes (during in-person learning)
If your child will not be riding the school bus this year, please send a note stating who has permission to pick up your child after school.
If your child is a regular bus rider, but will not be using the bus on a particular day, please send a note to school on that day. Include your child's full name, route number, and the date on the note. Click to get a copy of the BUS NOTE. Click to get a copy of the
LONG-TERM BUS NOTE.
If your child is absent, please send a note to school when he/she returns to explain the absence. Click to get a copy of the official CPS Reason for ABSENCE NOTE. No assignments will be given ahead of an expected absence. Any missing work should be completed after your child returns to school.
Whenever sending money (cash or checks) to school, please place it in an envelope and indicate who it is from and what you have enclosed.
Please make sure that your child knows when you have given him/her a note for the teacher. There are two bins by the teacher's desk in 104: a work bin and a note bin. Only student class work or homework should be placed in the work bin. All notes and correspondence from parents should be placed in the note bin. You may help paperwork arrive at its proper location by designating one pocket in your child's homework folder for notes and one pocket for homework.
