Lunch Procedures (during in-person learning)
There are two lunch periods at Bell School. The younger students eat during the 11:15 to 12:00 lunch period. First graders go to the multi-purpose room to eat first and then go outside to play. Lunch recess is followed by Quiet Time in the classroom.
Your child may bring his/her lunch from home or receive a school lunch for free. There are nut-free tables in the lunchroom for children with nut allergies as well as any others with nut-free lunches who wish to join them. Milk may be purchased for 35 cents.
If your child brings his/her lunch to school, please place it in a box or bag clearly labeled with his/her name and room number on the outside. Students in 104 will indicate whether they are baggers (who bring their lunches from home) or ticketers (who eat a school lunch) when they enter the classroom.
Your child may also eat breakfast for free before school starts.
