The Question of the Day was: Are you wearing a watch? Morning work involved practice with irregular plurals. The main part of our morning was spend on a service project for Bell School. The boys and girls assembled and then painted wooden birdhouses. They will be placed in the butterfly garden later this week.
Specials classes of the day were ASL and Library. All library books are due back next week.
During social studies, we tried to identify the seventeen different kinds of penguins, read the book And Tango Makes Three, and began learning about the early exploration of Antarctica.
The first graders created mini accordion books about how a chick develops for their egg-chick books. They also spent some time on the rug with a couple of our chicks. The chicks will be here until Friday. Please stop by after school on Wednesday if you would like to see them.
Another Circesteem class will take place tomorrow!
