I can tell you have been paying attention to nature when you go outside. Your responses to yesterday's Question of the Day show me you are excellent bird spotters.! I wonder if any of these birds have already laid eggs.
The photo above shows a chicken egg on the third day of incubation. If you look carefully, you can see blood vessels around the embryo.
You will read about sea turtle eggs today. Turtle eggs are not the same shape as chicken eggs. Think about why that might be.
