Dear Friends,
On the 16th day of incubation, the chicken embryo continues to grow. Its scales, claws, and beak become firm. The albumen (thin and thick white) is almost gone. Isn't it amazing how much has changed in just sixteen days!
The number three can be found in many fairy tales, folktales, and other stories. There are often three main characters, three tasks, three wishes, etc. Think about The Three Little Pigs or Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You can probably think of more examples of the "Rule of Three." In today's storytime read-aloud video, you will meet three hens. Check it out!
Love,
Ms. Kaim
