Dear Friends,
Happy Tuesday! You are working on measuring length in math now. We have been measuring things all year in first grade, so this should be a fun review for you.. Did I ever tell you that people used to use their bodies to measure length and distance? In fact, at first an inch was the width of a man's thumb. Ask your father or grandfather if he'd like to be your ruler!
Love,
Ms. Kaim
