Dear Friends,
Our painted lady caterpillars are growing bigger and fatter every day! Watch the videos from May 20 and May 21 today. Use the butterfly observation sheets to record your observations. Be sure to note any changes or developments. Pay special attention to the features that I point out to you in the videos. It is important to watch the science videos in order!
We will not meet today because Bell School is having another awesome school-wide SEL Day. Ms. Miller, Mr. Kosko, Mr. Ball, and the specials teachers have planned fabulous sessions for you. I can't wait to hear about them from you tomorrow!
Love,
Ms. Kaim
Question of the Day: Have you ever seen a turtle out in nature? Comment below!

A: Peanut Butter and Jellyfish!

- Take a virtual field trip to the South Carolina Aquarium to Shell-ebrate Turtles! This Live Streamable Learning event begins at 10:10 AM.
- "Help us observe World Turtle Day as we shell-ebrate chelonians! We’ll introduce you to some of our shelled residents at the aquarium as we learn about different turtles and the habitats in which they live. The South Carolina Aquarium also rescues sick and injured sea turtles, rehabilitates them, and releases them back to the wild. We’ll explore the aquarium’s conservation work with sea turtles and discuss ways that you can help all turtles."
